Issue Position: Affordability and Livability

As a Select Board member for the town of Waitsfield, I have learned firsthand how difficult it is for small, rural towns to achieve and sustain economic vitality. I work hard with other Select Board members to keep taxes in check, so that our neighbors can afford to live and prosper here. I am also committed to livability, which I see as supporting livable wages, expanding housing, and encouraging the kind of growth that compliments our historic villages and enhances our pedestrian and bike-friendly commercial districts.
