Today, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) issued the following statement in support of Leader Pelosi for Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives in the 116th Congress:
"The American people have spoken. Democrats will lead in the 116th Congress and I will support Nancy Pelosi for Speaker. Now is the time for House Democrats to unify so that the will of the majority prevails. Pelosi led us to victory. Any attempts to undermine Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House are unwarranted and fly in the face of her stellar and unrivaled leadership that led Democrats to victory in the House. Let's support the majority and make her Speaker."
