Issue Position: Should NH broaden campaign finance disclosure laws?

Issue Position

FOR: I support broader campaign finance disclosure laws.

Allowing stricter financial caps on candidates would allow for a more even playing field and would give the chance for people to learn more about each candidate. With the increased usage of the internet and social media, it is easier to make databases more accessible which in the long run would save money. It also will decrease staff workloads which will ultimately save money. I believe having these finance disclosure laws will allow people to see where the money is going therefore allowing them to make the right decisions.
