For far too long, small business owners in Missouri have been the target of fraudulent lawsuits from ambulance chasers and greedy lawyers. I believe some tort reform measures would help bring a balance to the abusive claims against our state's entrepreneurs.
Currently, Missouri is rated as a "judicial hellhole" due to our lax laws on frivolous lawsuits. I will support measures that will protect our Missouri small business owners from abusive claims.
