Issue Position

In 2006 Ginny passed goals helping move Vermont away from costly fossil fuels and preserve environmental integrity. In 2007 she organized three weeks of education for the legislature on challenges to and economic opportunities in response to climate change. Energy efficiency, clean energy projects, and opportunities for municipal, residential, business, and farms continue to develop. Ginny presents her work to many Vermont groups as well as to legislative leaders in other states. Her efforts helped pass the 2010, 2012, 2014,2016 net metering, energy efficiency and renewable energy laws. Go to the Spring newsletters at REV.com to read about some of these laws.
