Ginny believes that investing in Vermont's renewable energy, creative economic opportunities, working landscape and emerging technologies will help build Vermont's strong sustainable economic future. She worked to provide low interest loans and grants funding for small businesses. The clean energy development fund, VEDA energy development programs support emerging technology and renewable energy businesses. Access to capital is key for economic growth. We have worked to eliminate the cycle of economic downturn and poverty that hurt so many in our state. Ginny sponsored and helped pass the Estate Tax reduction law. Calculating estate taxes is less complex and fairer to Vermont families. We need continued support for Reach Up and Workforce Development Programs. Revitalizing an economic plan for Vermont is important to all of us.
