Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy introduced legislation to update the SEC's resubmission thresholds for shareholder proposals.
"For years now, we have seen political activists force their radical views on companies by resubmitting the same partisan driven proposals to debate year after year with the same result. We've seen these tactics continue to be employed in the current proxy season. The time to update the thresholds to prevent these activists' tactics is long overdue."
