Eliminate the State Income Tax, NO GAS TAX INCREASE.
Eliminate the ad valorem tax that drives up the cost of our car tags and move to a flat tag fee. Every year I have fought against attempted gas tax increases and WON! In 2017 I led the fight in the House against the proposed Internet Sales Tax which also didnt pass. A growing number of my colleagues have also joined me in the fight against raising taxes on the local level without the consent of the voters. You have a right to vote on all local taxation even attempts to extend those taxes should go before the citizens first and I will continue to fight for The People of Mississippi to have their voices heard.
