Norton to Host Seniors Resource Fair, Tomorrow

Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) will host a "Seniors Resource Fair" this Wednesday, September 4th, at 10:00 a.m. to give seniors valuable information on resources available to them. There are many services and organizations dedicated to helping seniors across the District, but residents often do not know all the services available to help them. Staff will connect seniors with local resources they need to live healthy and secure lives, with workshops including Finances, Medicare Fraud, and Exploitation of Seniors. Seniors will also engage in memory games and appropriate physical fitness.

"Our Seniors Resource Fair is geared to what seniors tell us most interests them," Norton said. "Next Wednesday will be filled with valuable workshops and good fun."
