Governor Chris Sununu Signs Executive Order, Establishes USMCA Trade Council

Today, after signing Executive Order 2020-02, establishing the Nation's first state-level trade council following ratification of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement:

"The Executive Order I signed today brings together state and federal experts, business leaders, and international trade representatives to ensure the continued success of the many businesses that call New Hampshire home," said Governor Chris Sununu. "New Hampshire's businesses are at the forefront of international trade and lead the globe in innovation. This Executive Order serves to identify opportunity for future economic growth in New Hampshire and abroad, while leveraging the expertise of industry leaders and their colleagues to assist businesses in taking advantage of the new opportunities provided by the USMCA."
