U.S. Congressman Greg Pence (IN-06) released the following statement today after President Trump signed the new North American trade deal, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

"The USMCA is a landmark trade deal and an historic victory for American workers, farmers and manufacturers. Signing USMCA into law will bring billions to our nation and hundreds of thousands of new jobs for Americans," said Congressman Pence. "President Trump has kept his promise to American farmers and manufacturers, negotiating a great trade deal as the Washington swamp and media elite tried to block his Administration from a victory for the People. Ournation's farmers and manufacturers know they have an administration that puts them first."

Pence has long called for doing the People's work by passing USMCA. He joined 159 of his Republican colleagues, led by Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Michael Conaway, this congress to urge Speaker Pelosi to immediately put the USMCA on the House floor for a vote.

He again stood up on behalf of American farmers and manufacturers in a letter to Speaker Pelosi with his colleagues on the House Foreign Affairs Committee urging her to put aside the partisan impeachment sham impeding the work of the American people.
