Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after the House Science, Technology, and Energy Committee made a recommendation to not move forward with two bills from Governor Chris Sununu's 2020 clean-energy plan.
"While the House has chosen to play politics with these votes to halt progress on viable clean energy legislation, I remain committed to finding a true net metering compromise," said Governor Chris Sununu. "We have the opportunity to move forward with a smarter clean energy policy done the New Hampshire way -- innovative, viable legislation that protects ratepayers while expanding access to renewable energy."
