Hoeven Announces Funds For Economic Development Planning In Northwestern North Dakota

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Economic Development Administration (EDA) has awarded $210,000 to the Tri-County Regional Development Council to serve the following counties: Divide, McKenzie and Williams. These funds will benefit the development and implementation of a comprehensive economic development strategy (CEDS) to strengthen the regional economy.

"Public-private partnerships greatly benefit the economy," said Hoeven. "Today's funds will spur economic development and growth in northwestern North Dakota by pin-pointing specific opportunities and areas to direct resources."
