Mr. HILL of Arkansas. Madam Speaker, I rise today to recognize Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (Central Arkansas VA) nurse Teresa West for recently being awarded the VA Secretary's Award for Excellence in Nursing.

The VA Secretary's Award for Excellence in Nursing program was established in 1984 and is given only once to an individual.

Teresa is the nurse manager for the VISN 16 Clinical Resource Hub, which combines in-person care and telehealth to support underserved medical facilities.

Her work is crucial in allowing rural veterans to get the care they need, when they need it, regardless of location.

Teresa's long list of accomplishments include implementing the Virtual Medical Room program at the Central Arkansas VA and training primary care teams at five other VA Healthcare Network facilities on telehealth.

Teresa is a champion for the veterans community throughout Arkansas and the country, and I am proud to recognize her commitment to better serve our Nation's heroes.
