Reformed teacher pay by collapsing the antiquated 32-step pay scale, focused pay raises to increase early-career pay to attract and retain high-quality teachers -- as a result, teachers will earn more over their career.
Ended tenure for all teachers hired after June 30, 2018.
In 2014 we passed an average 7% teacher pay raise, the largest in decades. And raised starting teacher pay by $5,000.
