The healthcare system in the state of Nebraska needs transformation, more and more Nebraskan families need adequate healthcare. Especially residents of District 11 that need various healthcare options and alternatives. District 11 residents have a lower life expectancy compared to every other district across the state and it's below national averages, in some cases 11 and 12 years less respectively. As your state senator, I will fight to make sure our state healthcare system is fair and equitable for all. I address mental health and trauma especially in areas of high poverty. Lastly, I will put restrictions on drug companies to put an end to high drug prices and price gouging.
