Issue Position

One of the most important jobs of government at all level is to prioritize funding for transportation and communication. Local taxpayers can't shoulder the whole cost alone. We have miles of federal and state funded highways in Vigo County and we need the state to adequately fund their care and upkeep. Our county roads and city streets depend on adequate funding from the state, and I am working to make sure our needs are known and funded. We also need to ensure that high speed broadband is available and affordable to every home and business in the district to ensure that our children, families and businesses can learn and compete in the global economy.
