Helena, along with other rural communities rely on economic opportunity to sustain or grow their local job markets. During his time on the Helena City Commission, Rob worked to increase jobs by hiring additional police and fire personnel. In 2017, Rob also approved the first cost of living adjustment in two years and created paid family leave. Rob would like to translate that success into state policy. During the 2019 session, he proudly supported the state pay plan.

Rob realized first hand that an obstacle to economic opportunity is affordable child care. Rob has researched and hopes to pursue opportunities facilitate community child care solutions.
