» QUALITY
If elected, I would be the only mother of young children in the State Senate, and because of that, one of the fiercest champions for equitable education both in our public schools and our early childhood education systems. We can do this through hiring more educators and aides, and decreasing the student to teacher ratio.

» FUNDING
It's time we address the funding problems that plague our districts and stop passing the issue to the next generation. I believe we need to implement weighted funding. We also need to set our students up for success by funding universal pre-K.
