According to the Florida Chamber of Commerce, Florida is ranked #48 for overall health care among 50 states + the District of Columbia. More than 2 million Floridians are without any form of health insurance coverage. The state's stubborn refusal to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act has directly contributed to this astronomically high number of uninsured residents. Angie will work within our state to expand Medicaid in our state.
-Advocate for Medicaid Expansion via the Affordable Care Act
-Engage with healthcare organizations to provide wellness checks and provide services for underserved constituencies in district 14.
