The Constitution of the United States, in Article 1 Section 8, outlines the limited power of the federal government. The 10th Amendment confirms that any powers not specifically enumerated in the Constitution are reserved to the states, or the people.

The federal government has overstepped its bounds by passing unconstitutional laws, like the Affordable Care Act and others, and the states must begin to stand up, defend the Constitution, and fight against these unconstitutional acts.

Jon believes the best government is the government closest to the people which it governs. If elected, Jon will continue to affirm our right as a state to govern ourselves and will oppose any unconstitutional law enacted by our overreaching and overgrown federal government.
