Since first being elected to the State Senate in 2012, Brad has been an outspoken voice for reforming the way business is done in Albany. He has introduced more than a dozen bills to strengthen ethics rules for elected officials, curtail the outsized influence of special interests, and crack down on public corruption. Brad recognizes that the public's trust in their elected representatives is paramount, and he will continue to tirelessly work to restore that trust in Albany.

SUPPORTS restricting state lawmakers' ability to earn outside income.

SUPPORTS comprehensive campaign finance reform including public financing of campaigns, matched contributions, and lower contribution limits for candidates for state office.

SUPPORTS closing the so-called LLC Loophole that allows certain corporations to circumvent campaign contribution limits and disclosure requirements.

SUPPORTS voter reforms such as automatic voter registration, vote-by-mail, early voting, and instant-runoff voting, which will make it easier for New Yorkers to exercise their rights to vote.
