Issue Position

The strength of our communities and state can be measured by how we treat our most vulnerable neighbors, and by whom we invite to the table to make decisions. As a senator, I have advocated for all Vermonters and worked to ensure marginalized voices are heard at our statehouse. My entire life I have been advocating for gender equality, through women's reproductive rights and access to healthcare, educational opportunities for all, and equal representation of women in positions of political and economic power. Women across Vermont have been inspired and trained to run for office because of my work. Students have been empowered to speak up about important issues of the day because I have asked them what they think. I will continue to fight for equality and a voice for all Vermonters, as I use my position as a senator to empower others.
