Brian Stewart started mowing yards when he was in middle school, bused tables in high school, joined the Army after graduation, and built his own business once he came back home. He knows hard work and the value of a dollar. That'a why he has always been fiscally conservative in managing our tax dollars, passing a balanced budget every year with no deficit spending as a Pickaway County Commissioner. Under his leadership, the county's credit rating was increased by Moody's as a result of "balanced operations, extremely healthy reserves, and prudent fiscal management" by the commissioners. He is a watchdog when it comes to taxpayer money, and he will oppose wasteful spending, and advance limited government, at the Statehouse.
