Congressman David Kustoff (TN-08) co-sponsored H.R. 13, the "Commitment to American Security Act", which is part of House Republicans' Commitment to America agenda. This bill would defend our 2nd Amendment rights and support our law enforcement officers through increased funding. Additionally, H.R. 13 will enhance and strengthen our border security, cybersecurity, and transportation security to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Americans.

"Our men and women in law enforcement deserve our nation's full support. The Commitment to American Security Act will increase funding for our local police and provide them with the necessary trainings and resources to help safeguard our communities in West Tennessee. By enhancing our cybersecurity efforts, improving transportation security, and strengthening our southern border, this bill ensures we are taking the necessary actions to protect Americans from every possible threat. I promise to always stand up for, fully fund, and defend our brave law enforcement officers, and I am proud to cosponsor this critical and timely legislation," said Rep. Kustoff.
