Congressman Alex X. Mooney Announces Rural Development Grant for Kanawha County

Today, Congressman Alex X. Mooney (WV-02) announced a $250,000 loan and a $475,000 grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development's Water and Waste Disposal Loans and Grants program. This funding will go towards the Kanawha Public Service District for a wastewater pump station.
"Funding from the USDA for the Kanawha Public Service District will benefit thousands of our citizens in the Upper Kanawha Valley. This upgraded infrastructure is critical to economic growth in the region. In Congress, I am focused on helping secure federal grants to improve infrastructure in our communities, so I'm happy to announce this funding today," said Congressman Alex Mooney.
