Location: Washington, DC

Rep. Jim Banks was sworn in today for his third term as the U.S. Representative for Indiana's 3rd Congressional District. He overwhelmingly won reelection on November 3 promising to keep taxes and spending low, hold China accountable and protect conservative values.

"I will spend the next two years leading the fight against the radical Left and preparing for a conservative House majority in 2022," said Banks.

He also officially takes over as the Chairman of the Republican Study Committee, the largest caucus on Capitol Hill. He was unanimously elected by his peers to lead the caucus in November by urging conservatives to embrace the lessons Republicans learned from President Trump like how to fight and champion policies that put American workers first.

Continued Banks: "With a group of self-ascribed socialists calling the shots in today's Democrat party, conservatives will have our work cut out for us. We will do everything in our power to stop them from enacting their agenda and make the case to the American people we are ready to lead the House again."
