"The funds I'm announcing today will help countless families throughout our community keep, or find, a roof overhead at a time when it's needed most. For a region that faced affordable housing shortages long before coronavirus struck, these HOME Investment Partnership funds not only meet the needs of this difficult moment, but also help us address our long-term, structural challenges."

Congresswoman Torres sits on the powerful House Appropriations Committee, which is responsible for allocating all discretionary federal spending. Torres leverages her seat on the Committee to ensure Inland Empire residents receive their fair share of support from the federal government.
