Mike Garcia: "i Am Committed to Funding and Supporting Our Law Enforcement'

Statement

Today, Representative Mike Garcia (CA-25) released the following statement after he co-sponsored a resolution in support of law enforcement, H.Res.352:

"Our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line daily to protect our communities," said Garcia. "While the radical left continues to recklessly call to defund and disband the police, I am committed to funding and supporting our law enforcement. The vast majority of our law enforcement officers are honorable guardians and it is imperative that we provide them with the proper funding and support so they can continue to keep our communities safe. I want to thank all our brave law enforcement officers and their families who sacrifice so much to keep us safe."

The resolution recognizes and supports the dedication and devotion demonstrated by our law enforcement officers. It also condemns calls to defund, disband, dismantle, or abolish the police.

The resolution comes in conjunction with National Police Week.
