Wagner Announces Lambert Airport to Receive Nearly 15$ Million in AIP Grants

Washington, D.C. -- Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO), Chair of the House Suburban Caucus, released the following statement announcing nearly $15 million in Airport Improvement Program grants for St. Louis Lambert International Airport:

"I am pleased to announce Lambert Airport will receive nearly $15 million in Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant funding. This funding will go towards important infrastructure improvements, including runway reconstruction, so Lambert can continue to provide St. Louis and our entire region with high-quality, effective service during all our travels. In addition to infrastructure improvements, these grants will also provide a needed boost to our local economy and support jobs here in St. Louis. I look forward to working with our local elected and airport officials to make sure these AIP grants are put to use quickly and efficiently."

The $14,640,200 in Airport Improvement Program funding will be matched by $4,880,066 in local funding.
