Stefanik Announces $95,000 Rural Business Development Grant for the North Country

Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is awarding North Star Food Hub, Inc. a $95,000 Rural Business Development grant to provide technical assistance in customized marketing and business development support to local producers in rural areas of Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, and Oswego Counties.

"I'm proud to announce $95,000 of taxpayer dollars will be returned to our district to support local producers in rural areas," Stefanik said. "This grant will help our producers market their hard work to increase sales. I will continue to be an advocate for North Country farmers."
