Rep. Steel Brings Resources Together for Senior Community

Last Friday, Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-48)hosted a Senior Resource Fair at Leisure World Seal Beach. The event included representatives from the Seal Beach Police Department, CalOptima, Advanced Medical Group, Astiva Health, City of Hope OC, Golden Reign Foundation, Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program on Aging -- Southern California, Los Alamitos Medical Center, MemorialCare, Providence, UC Irvine, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. There were over 140 residents in attendance.

Representatives shared important resources with the senior community on health coverage, open enrollment, and scam prevention. Members of Rep. Steel's team were also there to answer questions about federal agencies and provide casework assistance.
