Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) announced today that FEMA will award an additional $1,633,429.14 for hurricane recovery efforts in South Louisiana.
The reimbursement to Lafayette City-Parish Consolidated Government covers emergency protective measures taken in response to Hurricane Delta. It is made at a 75% federal cost-share.
All funding will be delivered to the State of Louisiana. The state is responsible for disbursing the funds to each sub-recipient.
