LUMMIS VOTES TO REPEAL BIDEN VACCINE MANDATE

U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) voted with all her Republican colleagues, as well as two Democrats on Wednesday to repeal President Biden's unlawful vaccine mandate on private employers.

"Every weekend, when I am back in Wyoming, people approach me concerned about how President Biden's vaccine mandates could affect them," Senator Lummis said. "I am vaccinated, and I encourage people around Wyoming to talk to their doctors about getting the vaccine, but they should not be forced to do so by a federal mandate. Businesses are already facing labor shortages, and families are faced with higher prices for every day necessities. This vaccine mandate only exacerbates those issues. I am pleased this measure passed the Senate, but we must keep fighting until the vaccine mandate is gone once and for all."
