Moolenaar Calls for End of Head Start Mask Mandate

Congressman John Moolenaar is calling for the Biden Administration to end the mask mandate for children in the Head Start program. Moolenaar wrote a letter with several House Republican colleagues calling for the end of the mandate.

"President Biden and his administration are requiring toddlers to mask even though there is little risk of them spreading COVID. Forcing them to wear masks will have negative effects on their development and President Biden should end this rule immediately," said Moolenaar.

The letter to President Biden can be found here. In January, Moolenaar supported the Saginaw Intermediate School District in its lawsuit against the Biden Administration's Head Start vaccine mandate.
