Last night, the U.S. Senate passed legislation in a bipartisan vote to revoke the Department of Health and Human Services' mask mandate for children in Head Start programs. Seven Democrats joined 48 Republicans in voting to end the mandate.

"President Biden is requiring toddlers to mask, which will have negative effects on their learning and mental development. Last night, senators on both sides of the aisle did the right thing and voted to end Biden's masking of toddlers. Speaker Pelosi must bring this legislation to a vote in the House immediately, so we can do away with this mask mandate," said Congressman John Moolenaar.

In January, Moolenaar supported the Saginaw Intermediate School District in its lawsuit against the Biden Administration's Head Start vaccine mandate. In March, Moolenaar wrote a letter with several members of Congress calling for the end of this mask mandate.
