Today, the House of Representatives passed the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act (S. 3522) with Rep. John B. Larson's (CT-01) support, sending this legislation to the President's desk.

"We stand with Ukraine and provide additional support as they are under siege from Putin's devastating war," said Larson. "Voting for the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act is akin to FDR's World War II initiative. This allows the United States to more quickly supply Ukraine with the weapons and supplies they need. Putin's aggression has killed and displaced millions of Ukrainians and has caused devastating inflation around the world. In Congress, both the House and Senate stand united with President Biden in support of Ukraine, draining Putin's war chest, and holding Russia accountable."
