"As a Member of Congress, I take my oath to uphold the Constitution seriously and I find it highly concerning that this bill contains language that was recently struck down as unconstitutional by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals," Rep. Bice said. "This legislation would not improve public safety, prevent these tragedies from occurring in the future, or solve the underlying issues. I support numerous pieces of legislation that would address root causes, such as prioritizing mental health services for all Americans, and strengthening school security."
