Issues: Civil Liberties and Civil Rights
The Missouri Humanities Council has announced its nominees for the 2023 Small Town Showcase "Featured Five" communities! The Small Town Showcase highlights the uniqueness of Missouri's small towns and helps to share all of the delightful aspects of each nominated town.
I am thrilled to see California, Rocheport, Lockwood, Glasgow, Lincoln, Cole Camp, Seymour, Fayette, Versailles, Buffalo, Centralia, Waynesville, Nevada, and Boonville are in the running. To be nominated, Missourians entered their favorite communities with over 10,000 residents online to be selected.
