Governor Greg Abbott today announced his endorsement of Wood County District Attorney Angela Albers for re-election. Albers has served as District Attorney since she was appointed the position by Governor Abbott in 2019, and was elected to that position in 2020.
"District Attorney Albers has a solid commitment to the rule of law and a strong adherence to conservative constitutional principles. I am proud of the job she has done as District Attorney. She has served the people Wood County well, and I encourage them to support her again in this year's election," said Governor Abbott.
