Tonight, U.S. Representative Ken Buck (CO-04) issued the following statement after voting against final passage of H.R. 1808, the "Assault Weapons Ban of 2022," which does nothing to make our communities safer and undermines Americans' right to bear arms.

"Despite our national economy continuing to crack under the weight of Biden-inflation, the Democratic House of Representatives dedicated the last day before August recess to strip law-abiding citizens of their Second Amendment rights. I will always vote to uphold and protect the Second Amendment."
