LARSON STATEMENT ON UKRAINIAN FIRST LADY OLENA ZELENSKA'S ADDRESS TO CONGRESS

Today, Rep. John B. Larson (CT-01) released the following statement after Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska addressed members of Congress:
"Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska gave an emotional and thoughtful depiction of what her country is going through since the unjust and unprovoked Russian invasion," said Larson. "I admire her grace speaking on this tragic situation, and we will continue to stand by the people of Ukraine as they fight for their freedom and the future of their country."
In May, Rep. Larson voted for more than $40 billion in emergency funding to support Ukraine and defend global democracy in the wake of Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine.
