Brady: Do Americans Trust the Same Democrats Who Drove U.S. Into a Recession?

After the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its July Consumer Price Index reporting that prices rose by 8.5 percent from the previous year, Ways and Means Republican Leader Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) issued the following statement:

"While gas prices have lessened a bit due to the recession, food prices have risen 10.9 percent the past year forcing families to skip meals, eliminate meat, and use their credit card to buy daily essentials.

"American families and workers continue to struggle under President Biden's cruel economy, with shrinking paychecks, a shrinking economy, and a shrinking workforce.

"As Democrats ram through their latest Manchin-Biden version of Build Back Better, do you trust the same people who drove America into a recession and robbed your paychecks with record inflation with another of their "economic recovery' schemes?"
