Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today issued the following statement after the Senate voted on a continuing resolution providing appropriations through December 16:

"I voted against the CR because Congress needs to work through regular order to fund the government while at the same time finding savings to get our debt and deficit under control."
