Congresswoman Betty McCollum's Statement on SCOTUS Decision to Overturn Roe v. Wade

Today, the unimaginable happened. The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, and stripped American women of their right to a safe, legal abortion. The Court's attack on women and their fundamental right to make decisions about their own health care is a direct result of the right-wing, Trump-appointed Supreme Court. The American people must elect a Congress that will enshrine into law the right to safe and comprehensive reproductive health care for all. Today, I am thankful to live in Minnesota, a state that protects women's rights. But I will never stop fighting for access to safe, comprehensive, and affordable reproductive health care for all.
