Connecticut is on the move!

No matter how you slice it, Connecticut's economy is on the upswing. We have a $4.3 billion surplus in the bank, new business registration is at its highest since 2006, and overall economic activity is in the top half of the nation.

Thanks to the Governor's hard work, along with my fellow Connecticut Democrats in Congress, our state is thriving.

Connecticut's not perfect -- we have to find solutions for issues like housing affordability and underfunded programs. But right now, Connecticut has economic momentum, and we need to use it in order to find common-sense solutions to these everyday problems.

I'm fighting hard in Congress to continue building on our state's prosperity, but we need to do everything we can to defend and expand our Democratic majorities in order to continue delivering results for our state.
