Congresswoman Kathy Manning (NC-06) released the following statement after voting to pass the H.R. 7606 the Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act.

"The Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act is a strong step in the right direction to bring down everyday costs for Americans," said Congresswoman Manning. "Lowering costs for farmers, strengthening our food supply chains, ensuring market competition, and bringing down prices at the pump are all actions that will help to curb inflation and protect American's hard-earned paychecks."

The Lower Food and Fuel Costs Act is a package of bills that will bring down costs at the grocery store by lowering costs for farmers, ensuring robust competition in the meat and poultry sector, lowering prices at the pump, and strengthening the food supply chain.
