"Stemming from illicit precursors made in China, America's fentanyl crisis is the deadliest narcotics epidemic in U.S. history, killing nearly 200 Americans every day. We must recognize the toll this crisis is taking on our country -- a lethal drug like fentanyl exploits the most vulnerable members of society, and we owe it to future generations to stop traffickers from poisoning our communities. I am committed to working with our international partners to confront this crisis head-on and save lives with my Project Precursor Act."
