"In my years working on women's health care--at Planned Parenthood, as a policy maker in Minnesota, and now in the Senate--I've met a lot of guys like Mike Johnson. Men who are hell bent on controlling the decisions women make about their own bodies and their own lives. Speaker Johnson is an extremist on women's health, far removed from what most Americans believe--including Republicans and Independent voters--which is that women, not politicians like Mike Johnson, can be trusted to make their own decisions about health care, including abortion. Time and time again, Republicans have told us who they are. When they say they want to ban abortion, they mean it.
