“The U.S. must continue to stand with Israel, our strongest ally, in their mission to eliminate Hamas and reestablish regional stability in the Middle East. Israel is fighting a number of Iran-backed terrorist groups that threaten its very existence. Our most important strategic partner not only deserves, but requires our unequivocal support. We cannot go wobbly on allowing Israel the time and freedom of action necessary to completely destroy our shared enemy and reestablish stability. And we must treat the Iranian regime and its proxies as the terrorists they are and prosecute them without impunity. I want to thank Majority Whip Tom Emmer for hosting this important conversation, and I look forward to continuing this work with our Israeli partners in defense of freedom, democracy, and mutual security.”
